HIIIIIIIIII. I’m Jenny, a Sydneysider and media student, born February 25th. This is my tag.

Fandoms you’ll see on this blog include Community, Merlin, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Lost, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit and whatever else tickles my fancy.

I tend to abuse the caps lock key; but if you ever meet me in real life, you’ll come to realise that all the caps locking I do is actually me speaking in my normal speaking voice.

I’m one of those people who wants to do all the things and be all the things — I’ve wanted to be an archaeologist (I bloody love Egyptology and wanted to grow up to be just like Evie O’Connell from The Mummy, which, by the way, is one of my favourite movies of all time), a psychologist, a paediatrician, an air stewardess, a lawyer (and I almost was), an actor, a graphic designer… but at the end of the day all I want to do is something that I love, something where I can give back and hopefully (!) connect with people, and make them feel ~feelings. Right now, that something is editing videos; but who knows where I’ll end up, really?

I’m a bit of a globetrotter and I love jasmine tea. I also bloody love macarons. I’m quite smitten with a lovely and wonderfully talented Irish actor who I was lucky enough to meet once

But I’m also an awful procrastinator, a bit of a hoarder, and I buy too many books but read too few. I can’t curl my tongue or whistle but I am ambidextrous, if that’s anything!

When it comes to music I adore alternative, folk and electronic/ambient pop but I have my moments where I dip into the mainstream or dabble in other genres. Bandcamp is one of my favourite places to discover new music.

I believe laughter is the best medicine, which is why I adore comedians like Adam Hills and Frank Woodley. I also believe in sustainability, so I try to eat organically whenever I can, even if it’s a little tougher on my wallet; but Mother Nature’s doing it pretty tough herself, so I don’t complain!

I love talking to people and establishing friendships; everybody’s got a story to tell and I’m always open to hearing them, and you never know what the next person you talk to could teach you. You can hit up my ask box any time. I don’t (usually) bite… ;)
